Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Freddy signed out of high school to play professional baseball with the Houston Astros organization. Throughout his 7 years in the Minor Leagues, Freddy was able to accomplish: Defensive Player of the Year, Team MVP, South Atlantic League Top Prospect, Offensive Player of the Month and Defensive Player of the Month. After his baseball playing career was over, he turned his attention to coaching, both at the college level for 2 years as the hitting coach at Asbury University and now at the youth level.

Played college baseball at University of Kentucky. Former member of the Kansas City Royals organization. Current assistant coach at Lexington Christian Academy.
Played baseball at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee (1988-1991). Led the team his senior season in batting average (.391) and runs batted in (47). 2007 Cal Ripken World Series 12U coach. Coached in Kentucky Baseball Club from 2008-2013.

2009 KHSAA Baseball Coach of the Year. 2009 KHSAA State Championship head coach. Current head coach at Sayre High School. Kentucky Baseball Club Board member and head coach.
Played college baseball at University of Kentucky (2001-2006). Won the 2006 SEC regular season Conference Championship while at UK. Played professionally for Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-Am league as well Washington Wildthings of the Frontier League. Current Operations Manager and coach with the Kentucky Baseball Club. Head Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach with Lexington Catholic High School.
